Heavy Infantry Gun |
Although
classified as a self-propelled artillery piece, the M7 Priest makes an excellent
anti-armor platform. Its 105mm howitzer dealt death to what ever it targeted.
With indications that America would enter the war, an order for 5,500 units
was placed during the first two years of production. Originally half of
these were to go to the British army, but American troops had to be equipped
first. In the end, only ninety found their way to British command. |
| The M7 should serve you well. Just its presence on the battlefield swings odds in your favor. But the Priest crews suffered the same vulnerabilities of tank destroyer crews because of an open top carriage. This is especially evident with the M7. A mere scout team can suppress your crew. Guard them vehemently, especially against ambushing rifle teams. Once your crews can no longer effectively fire the main gun the M7 becomes a priority target. | |
