Name: Light Infantry Gun |
An
old workhorse for the German army, this close support weapon soldiered on
till the end of the war. Requiring a crew of only three men, the IG 18 was
easy to operate, maintain, and deploy. |
| You won't see this gun very often, but when deployed correctly, it can provide an effective means of cutting off a lane of attack. Keep in mind that once in place these guns aren't very mobile. Place them in an area that offers a balance of both firing position and cover. Placement of a rifle or machinegun team nearby is recommended. | |
